never tried la bella figura? your late pass awaits. introducing new Travel Therapy & Découverte Under Eye Repair Serum...

When I went to the infamous A Night for Green Beauty here in NYC, I met up with several green beauty bloggers and heard many times throughout the night, "I really want to meet Victoria and Karen from La Bella Figura."  In fact, Night for Green Beauty was organized by these incredibly talented and creative women.  I have to admit, I hadn't tried La Bella Figura at that time, so I had no idea what to expect.  When I went to their table and started sniffing around, my senses exploded.  I'm now a huge fan of the brand as I consider them to be one of the top in terms of quality plant ingredients and effectiveness in natural skincare.

Travel Therapy  NEW! Victoria rushed Travel Therapy Botanical Mood Booster to me so I'd have time to try it out and fall in love.  The confidence she has in this product really intrigued me, "You're going to love it."  Wow. Okay, so let me tell you about this...this sets out to restore tranquility, relieve travel fatigue and I, personally, find it totally uplifting. With ingredients like Organic Blue Tansy (loooove the name) Italian Blood Orange and Bulgarian Rose Otto, it's no surprise I'm breathing this in with a smile on my face.  Simply put, it's pretty and will make you feel invigorated and happy.  If you don't believe that pure essences can change your mood, you need to try this.  Oh, and it's a great size for your makeup bag.  $50

Découverte Under Eye Repair Serum  A rollerball?  This is brilliant!  Yes, this fantastic eye repair serum comes with a rollerball which makes application so easy to use and feels so wonderful whilst rolling under the eyes.  With the purest of ingredients like barbary fig seed oil (richer in Vitamin E than Argan Oil) Argan and Rosehip oils, you've got all of the big guns moisturizing your undereye area.   Plus, you can apply this serum before your makeup and everything will go on perfectly...just give it some time to sink in.  Don't fear the oil, women!  Embrace it!  This will leave you completely hydrated and boy is it natural!  $115

Bio Active Healing Mask
Skin Aficionado Okay, if you're going to get a body oil or elixir (and I know this is costly) you'll want Skin Aficionado, especially coming into the Winter.  Why?  It smells other-worldy (the scent lasts on the skin, too) and it goes on like silk...that's the only word that kept coming to mind. The consistency is really smooth.  The scent is unlike anything I've smelled before and it made me so happy to breathe it in...warm, pretty and comforting...as if a cashmere blanket had a scent kinda thing.   $90

Bio Active Healing Mask  Well, here it is!  This is what the Bio Active Healing Mask looks like when it's applied (gosh, I have some nerve posting stuff like this, don't I?)  This is probably one of the thickest - and purest - masks you'll ever have the pleasure of using.  It feels as if someone handmade this due to it's high-quality ingredients and little pieces of flower petals.  I used this whenever I would have a big night out as it hydrated, brightened and smoothed my skin so well.  This mask is labeled for "Dry/Mature Skin" but my guess is that everyone can benefit from this; unless you're naturally gorgeous, in which case I raise my glass to you.  $60

Barbary Fig Renewal Serum  If you're the type of person who really loves to apply products that smell wonderful while they're working, you're in luck.  This face serum, packed with essential fatty acids 3 and 6, works to build collagen and suppleness.  I used up my entire sample so fast, but kept the little bottle so I could sniff it...all true.  Want to know what's cool?  The broccoli seed oil in the serum acts as a primer, making the skin soft and ready for makeup.   From what I've read, it seems as if Magnolia Oil is the ingredient that gives it its scent.  This serum will hydrate the skin without any oily after feel.  Highly recommended.  $125

Rainforest Hydration Treatment This creamy balm has a super soft consistency and smells so beautifully floral, I love applying it to my face so I can smell it all day.  Unlike many hydration treatments that are heavy and thick, this one melts like butter on the skin and works so well.  Feeling super dehydrated?  Put this all over or spot treatment dry areas.  $125

GIVEAWAY: Closed

  1. You had me at rollerball! I never got over my '70s crush of those goopy lip glosses that smelled like heaven in a bottle (really just fake strawberry junk, but what did I know?) I can't believe I never tried La Bella Figura either. Go figure... Now I'm in serious lust, but your posts always do that to me :-)

    1. "You had me at rollerball!" Loved reading that. Yeah, agreed. I even had that roll-on deodorant (must've been chock full o' chems) called "Tickle" that had a big ball to roll under your arms. You never tried La Bella? Blasphemous! Thanks for chiming in, Sarita. You're fun.

  2. I have been having issues with my skin the last few years. I recently realized that all the chemicals and preservatives that are in the skin care products I have been using may be to blame. I have been investigating the natural, organic skin care options available and this line looks fantastic. I would love to be able to try these products.

  5. I'm into the green beauty movement because it asks of us not only to consider how we are caring for ourselves but also how we are caring for our planet. It reminds me to be careful as a consumer and it makes me crafty. I use a mix of homemade beauty products from all natural ingredients and a spattering of truly green and clean brands. I love a luxe products and I love making them at home. I also love the community that surrounds this movement and have been a longtime reader, fan and friend of the No More Dirty Looks gals. They even let me write a humor infused piece on their blog about my love of the luxe products. Self-care + planet care = awesomeness!

  8. La Bella Figura has an amazing name and amazing products. I've been dying to try their elixirs for some time now. Everything they make is done with such thought and care. You can tell that they are really focused on making products that actually work while utterly pampering you. When I read about barbary fig seed oil I just knew it was going to be the next Argan Oil (ie The Next Big Thing.) And I'm sure, given it's content of linoleic acid, that it will transform the skin. I would be so excited to try these goodies! I began my quest of all things natural for the environment and my health (it also involved cleaning up my food, and behavior). But it slowly morphed into the a quest for Solutions. As I got deeper into natural beauty, I found that all the skin problems that plague us can actually be solved with rich healing ingredients. The fact that they were more effective than synthetics had me hooked.

  9. I love green beauty products for several reasons: better for your health, supports sustainable businesses, and prevents environmental pollution by way of the various synthetics that are washed down the drain. Mostly, though, I think that compared to conventional products, green beauty products are often a better deal since the latter contain a greater percentage of active plant-based ingredients. I've tried LBF Daily Elements Defense Oil, so I know firsthand Victoria and Karen are capable of making some lovely-scented products and would love to try out more of them!

  11. I love the fact that green beauty has become a full-fledged "movement" because two years ago I overhauled my bathroom cabinets (and overall lifestyle) as a result. So now, it's not a movement, but simply a way of living every day! I would love the opportunity to try any product from LBF because I have read nothing but glowing reviews of this brand.

  12. After baby number 4, my skin got dry, flaky and bumpy all at once. None of the conventional stuff was able to help and then after some good google search time, I came upon the green beauty/skincare movement. All I can say is 'Where has this been all my life?!' Lol! My skin is so much better and I have ppl asking me what I use on my face. Yay!

I've heard nothing but rave reviews about this line, and I would love to have the opportunity to try out these two products! I started on the green beauty path after a battle with sensitive skin, and I love that not only are green products free of nasty stuff, they're chock full of ingredients that are absolutely incredible for the skin. 14. I've spent the last few months trying to 'green up' my skincare and food routine, due to a family history of cancer and other health scares. As a college student, many of these products can be pricy, but I've seen an improvement in my skin and feel so much better about not putting chemicals onto my skin and into my body. It's nice to know that using natural products is one way to try and fight off the diseases that have affected my family-very empowering!
I LOVE La Bella Figura's products and their mission to use high quality ingredients that are nourishing and safe (their instagram is also fantastic and so inspirational!). I just wish I could afford their whole line (I've heard that some of the masks are good enough to eat). I'd love to try these products! Contact me at zoeisaacs@gmail.com

  16. I have gone green since becoming pregnant almost 2 years ago and committing to extended breast feeding. Well clearly there is no going back now. I love how supportive this beauty/wellness environment is and how it reminds people that no matter what you slather on your skin you also have to feed it from the inside out. I have tried the LBF Barbary fig oil and it has done good things for my hormonal lay confused skin. I also love how accessible the ladies from LBF are. I can be reached at juliasobrien@gmail.com.

  17. My conversion to the green and clean beauty movement was something I never expected. I have been obsessed with makeup, skincare, and all aspects of beauty for most of my life, and although I cared about the environment for years I dismissed the idea of eco-conscious philosophy as mumbo-jumbo and assumed natural products were ineffective and inferior to their glamorous counterparts from big name brands that promised miraculous results stemming from pseudo-scientific sounding research and discoveries. My passion (okay, maybe obsession is a more apt description) for the subject led me to constantly seek to learn as much as possible about the beauty industry, and after a while it became clear that not only were natural products superior to my former favorites, but that the things I had been using were actually packed with unnecessary ingredients that were harmful to my skin and my health. Today, my obsession with beauty is possibly even stronger, but now I take a much more holistic approach and I lust after products and brands that are good for me and the environment. La Bella Figura is a brand that uses ingredients of the highest quality, and whose products I desperately covet. I have read so many glowing reviews of their whole line, and they take up a lot of real estate on my pinterest wishlist boards. Whoever wins will be one lucky person, although in my completely biased opinion, I think that I would appreciate them the most. My fingers are crossed, so thanks for the chance and keep the reviews and articles coming- they are indispensable to all of us green devotees out here across the interwebz! Since getting clean, I feel healthier, more grounded in my daily routine, more at peace with my beauty obsession and I can't seem to shut up about it- to my friends, family, anyone who will listen! Spread the word, green beauty is here to stay!

  19. I have been so intrigued to try la bella figura and these products sound, and sound like they smell, DIVINE. Why green? I'm obsessed. Officially. It's a natural progression of things I believe after one decides to finally kick crap out of their diet - you start about wondering all the other conventional things one mindlessly slathers on every day. Not only does going green make people more beautiful, but it's a way to reclaim something for ourselves and companies like la bella figura are so wonderful to support. They let the giant companies out there know that consumers aren't just interested in the cheapest, quickest way anymore. We want a well-rounded commitment to sustainability and community in addition to a quality product that won't threaten our health. It's amazing and inspiring how "wholesome" green beauty and green living is on so many levels. I guess that's why I'm part of this fantastic blogging community as well :) Great post!

I am absolutely delighted to be part of this movement and forever grateful to companies like these who help remove the toxic chemicals out of women's beauty routine . Green beauty not only good for our skin & our bodies but good for the environment. Great skincare does not need to be selfish. If we look after our beautiful world, SHE will keep looking after us! I stumbled upon a few beauty blogs- one being yours , and a lot of the things being said really resonated with me.Natural beauty give me a sense of peace in my beauty routine ...I think it’s also important to remember that it’s really your HEALTH that you’re investing in. Yes, it might cost more than the five dollar thing at the drugstore, but it’s also a thousand times BETTER for you than that product.
For me LA BELLA is a journey of two hard working beautiful souls through their lens .. I admire how innovative and fearless these women are.Their dedication & enthusiasm is infectious. They fill each jar with Holistic freshness, pleasure, top-quality nourishing
ingredients and innovation so I would love to try/win ANYTHING from LBF..Thank you la bella for your existence and thank you to you too for this STELLAR opportunity :) How lucky we are to be a part of the growing green beauty industry :)

  28. I just bought my first La Bella Figura item last month (the Bohemia Verde Aromatic Hair Elixir). It is amazing and every one needs it (it is only $25)! It smells great (peppery/spicy/flowery) and my hair is softer than ever! I have only recently switched over my beauty products to green ones(since May) and I swear I look 5 years younger!! I use the barbary fig seed oil and it does wonders for redness and inflammation, but I've had my eye on the Découverte serum, as I am the queen of genetic purple under-eye circles, so I'd be super keen on winning that! If I were made of money, I'd just go on a LBF binge ;-)

  30. I made the switch after researching ways to help my mother with some health problems and coming to find that they were being caused by the chemicals in her skincare and hair products. I think I had that moment that many of us have when we realize the dangerous things we're slathering all over ourselves...just pure shock and sadness. What keeps me excited about it is definitely the people behind many the brands. When you know that the people who make the products you're using cares so much about their products and the quality...it makes me feel special getting to use them. It's almost like being in a club, haha. I have been following you on FB and I liked LBF. Email is cedenbreejen at gmail dot com. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  31. I'm not sure what got the ball rolling for me, but over the past few months I have been OBSESSED with green beauty, and am almost completely switched over in my skincare routine to all organic. I think for me what got me going was that my eczema was driving me nuts and I was getting tired of having to comb through ingredient lists to ensure there was no funky stuff going on...with organic skincare I find I have a lot more leeway and can play and enjoy with much more abandon - there's hardly been a product that my skin hasn't responded well to!!! :D beauty.obsessed.blog@gmail.com

  32. Wow, this is an amazing giveaway. The green beauty movement makes me so happy because self-care has become such a zen experience in my life. I feel nourished and cared for - and this attention to detail to products, ingredients, sourcing, the ethics and ethos behind companies - was never something I thought about before my foray into clean/green. The thoughtfulness and care that people in this movement exhibit - not to mention the connection I believe we all feel through sharing beauty rituals - is inspiring to me, every single day. I'd LOVE to try these products. I recently purchased the facial steam teas and can't wait for a little at home pamper session very soon....Thanks for your blog :)

  33. I've been wanting to use natural and green beauty products for a long time... Starting in high school I used to make my own things to use but it obviously wasn't consistent nor am I an expert... So I am excited that there are lines that are available for purchase now created by people who are (more) conscious of these things than I am. I appreciate the care not only for the ingredients and the consumer but also am passionate about where the ingredients are sourced from and want to make sure that my products support ethical and sustainable practices.

I am excited about this giveaway because I think that purchasing green products is something that is necessary but I'm a college student and my budget is so tight so it's difficult to prioritize beauty or skin care but I also want to be able to take care of my skin! 47. I've had SO much trouble with my face as an adult. As soon as I stopped using some drugstore brands, there was a MARKED difference. It was then that I started researching makeup ingredients... I was SHOCKED. At this point, I don't think makeup and skincare should hurt my body and skin, I think it should SUPPORT my health.

  48. I love natural, green beauty products because they have done wonders for my skin. I have seriously sensitive skin, prone to dryness and eczema, and as soon as I switched to natural products and started paying close attention to ingredients I noticed a remarkable change in my skin and overall health. The whole process really opened my eyes to the incredible green goodness that is out there. I have been reading reviews of La Bella Figura for a few months now and have been dying to try some of their products. Thanks for this awesome giveaway! (My FB username is Emily Samples).
